Darren got his decks in his early teens and has been addicted ever since. Three decades of collecting music — vinyl in record shops, CDs through the middle years, digital crates today — learning the craft, reading rooms, knowing exactly which track lands when.
That obsession shows in the sets. The kind of nights that get a room full of forty-somethings remembering exactly why they used to go out: Club Classics, dance, Balearic warmth, full-on house. The good stuff.
He’s played most of Worthing and Brighton’s bars, clubs and festivals over the years — residencies, one-offs and club nights of his own. Sessions, 24 Degrees, Red Wine Sessions — that scene.
His heart and soul is dance music, but he’s been a professional DJ for over thirty years — weddings, milestone birthdays, family functions and corporate events, the lot. For those, he plays exactly what the room needs: 60s, 70s disco, 80s pop, 90s, Motown, soul, wedding floor-fillers, current chart hits — whatever keeps the dance floor full. The dance and house sets only come out when that’s what you’ve specifically booked. He reads any room, drops the right track at the right moment, and knows when to be the entertainment and when to be the soundtrack. You’re in safe hands.
